What you should know.
What is the difference between BASIC, EXTENDED, and COMPLETE?
BASIC (€0): mandatory check, Pap + palpation. EXTENDED (from €50): + one ultrasound (vaginal or breast). COMPLETE (€120): both ultrasounds. Most women age 35+ choose COMPLETE.
How often should I have screening?
Age 20–34: annual Pap + palpation. Age 35+: every 3 years Pap + HPV test. Breast ultrasound: annually recommended, especially with dense breast tissue.
Why is BASIC phone-only?
Due to the German GKV cost-saving law of 29 April 2026, we are required to ration public-insurance screening slots. Please call or switch to EXTENDED/COMPLETE.
What happens if results are abnormal?
Immediate re-test in 3–6 months, or directly further diagnostics (colposcopy, biopsy). We take time to explain results. Referral to clinic if needed.
Ovarian cancer — can it be screened for?
Difficult. No established screening exists. Vaginal ultrasound can give hints (cysts, tumors). With family history (BRCA): genetic counseling. We advise on your personal risk.
